Valentine’s Day! Show the love…

We may be a wildlife organization, but our love for animals spans all species. Our President, Kimberly Manthy, recently presented a neonatal kitten class for Garfield’s Rescue, Inc. The response was very positive. Kitten season is coming quickly! These vulnerable babies require special consideration and care to survive and thrive.

Wildlife 911 Northern Neck is expanding this important presentation on Valentine’s Day, What works for a neonatal kitten in need can oftentimes be applied to what helps wildlife, so plan to attend if you want to learn a bit more about helping the most vulnerable. She’ll also be providing information on CPR for your pets, including why birds require different techniques. Kimberly is bringing her hairless Sphynx, Tommy, and she’ll be ready to share tips and tricks, answer questions and have good conversation about what we do, who we are and where we’re going in support of all creatures in the Northern Neck region!

See you on Valentine’s Day, 11:00 AM at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock, VA 22482. Fee free to bring snacks and drinks to share and celebrate our love for all creatures in our area.
